Today’s Miracle Moment Is About How to Let It Be Easy…
Do you ever feel like life is full of struggle, and you wonder if it’s possible for life to just be easy? In today’s Miracle Moment we learn about the art of letting it be easy from a very special creature that I (Marci) came across on my recent trip to Maui, Hawaii… the sea turtle!
On Maui, you’ll often see the sea turtles’ heads bobbing in the water as they swim across the ocean. You can also find the sea turtles on the shore before sunset, when they come to rest after swimming all day long. And if you’re lucky enough, you might even see them swimming right next to you in the water, which I did a few times one day. The next day, someone gave me a gift of a little 3D magnet with a sea turtle on it.
Knowing that every animal carries a specific medicine and message for us, I was delighted to find out the special medicine of the sea turtle:
Turtle Medicine says: “Let it be easy. Struggle is not required.”
Is there a particular area where you seem to encounter struggle again and again–perhaps in your relationships, finances, living situation, or job? Most of us have developed certain specific patterns of struggle in our bodies and minds.
To shift this pattern of struggle, here’s a simple practice you can experiment with:
- When you’re in the middle of a situation that feels like a struggle, practice releasing the muscle tension that you’re experiencing in that moment.
- Breathe up and down your body and imagine that you’re opening your chest, opening your belly, and opening your solar plexus.
- Then take a big belly breath and when you exhale, drop the breath straight down into the earth, as if there were a channel of energy that’s connecting you to the Earth.
This breathing exercise is powerful because it connects you to the Earth’s frequencies. The Earth’s energies are in “ease” rather than “struggle.” That’s what we want more of in our lives.
We can also look at how the sea turtles model “letting it be easy.”
Turtles go slow. They aren’t in a rush. Like the turtles, we can trust that no matter what, we’ll get where we need to be in perfect timing.
Turtles go with the flow. The ocean current is supporting them so they don’t have to work as hard.
We can go with the flow by listening to ourselves and honoring our intuition, which is our divine compass that can guide us and keep us in the flow of life.
And, turtles are great at following their internal rhythms. They swim during the day, and then when they need to, they rest on the shore. So if you need permission to rest and follow your internal rhythm, look to the turtles.
“Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax.” – Mark Black

LoveThis Perfect.. will Do the Breathing 💗🐢
Thanks very much Marci and Dr. Sue. This sea turtle information is just what I needed, and cherish, for today and onward. I love spiritual reminders that involve Nature. Reminders such as these are truly invaluable.
Thank you both for reminding me of this wonderful message 🐢.
Pls. keep me informed
of other miracle moments.
Thank you for taking the time and caring enough to share this message.
For me the message I got from a crystal turtle gift is that we carry our home with us. Meaning, that wherever we go physically, we can choose to feel/be at home, to be safe. Meaning that our true home is within. It is there that I go for peace, for gratitude, for inspiration. I have always moved more slowly than this U.S. culture anyway……leaving time for play and being in nature and time with friends, prior pandemic.
I too have swum with turtles while growing up in Hawaii and as an adult. They are delightfully sweet and aware of the connection they have with us as they join us for a swim. I had not noticed the ease they also embody, so appreciate this reflection. Thank you! ♥️
i NEEDED TO HEAR THAT TODAY. THANKS SO MUCH. RUSHING OFF TO THE BEACH CAN YOU BELIEVE IT
Thanks for this information. Most of it I knew, but in the moment of stress I forget to take in deep breaths. Thanks for the reminder. It helps to know that I’m not alone.
The turtle has become one of my mascots. Over 20 years ago a friend who is Mohawk gifted me a soapstone turtle and a print of the Creation Story – the creation of The Great Turtle Island (later also known as North America). Although I had not consciously chosen to ‘collect’ turtles, once friends and family saw these two beautiful images of the turtle in my home they began gifting me more turtles. The way I see it is that the turtle choose me.
I often struggle with feelings of business – busy thoughts and feeling rushed. This month I am consciously following my turtle guides to slow down and trust that I will reach my destination in ‘devine timing’ which is my theme for 2021 YYOM!
Love and light to all.
Thank you Marci & Dr. Sue, for caring & sharing your wise words. Mother Nature is such a Healer and Teacher! Like the Sea Turtle does, let’s go with the flow and “let it be easy”! ❤️
Thanks Marci and Dr. Sue for this beautiful reminder from the sea turtles which also reminds me of this simple song that we all know.
Row, Row, Row Your Boat,
Simply Down the Stream,
Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, Merrily,
Life is but a Dream.
Let’s all be in the flow!
Oh Marci!
This is the very perfect medicine today! In this now moment I go into effortless ease and allow the moment to carry me through!!
I have been dreaming of sea turtles lately!
Thank you dear Sue for the releasing breath!
Thank you both!
So grateful!
Lovely You hit the nail on the head. Loved the quote too~ Awesome
Absolute Confirmation! And that’s just what I’m doing for the first time in a long time this weekend along with sleeping. Later, I’ll hang out with a friend and watch movies. It’s great to share a laugh with someone. We keep each other encouraged in the Lord, too.
Thanks for today’s insight. 😊
The right knowledge comes at the right time
I have recently been working on releasing some negativity from dealing with challenges caused by a loved one’s not practicing self-care and taking their medications. You have to wonder, why would someone repeatedly do this?… causing themselves harm and those around them. Only they know; but, I realized, “Life IS beautiful”… and I CANNOT control what someone else chooses to do or not do. That is their responsibility.
I CAN control how I react.
I CAN attempt to practice my own “self” care.
I CAN practice calling upon my own inner strength. Like the Turtle,
I CAN persevere.
Thank you, Marci, for this example. I love Turtles! Like the Turtle, our strength comes from within. The Turtle goes at its own pace. The Turtle perseveres, doesn’t give up. Remember the story of the Tortoise and the Hare? The Tortoise won the race!
Thank you Dr. Sue, for this breathing exercise that reinforces that inner knowing, that we are not alone… we are connected… and therein lies the strength that we can call upon in times of challenge, stress, etc.
Mother Nature speaks… life IS beautiful… persevere… never give up… we are not alone… we are connected and therein lies our strength. Priceless.
Thank you, Marci and Dr. Sue for the reminder. I love central channel breathing and appreciate the reminder! Mahlao nui.
Letting go our worries and honoring to rest is essential
Thank you for sharing this miracle moment. I definitely needed this.
This message was meant for me and i receive it. Thank you.
I wasn’t aware how I’d let in stress until I heard this. I needed this reminder; to let go and allow things to flow in their own rhythm.
Feeling so at peace now
In gratitude
I got it! The breath when summoned and issued is the medicine for ease. I allow myself to be in flow, slow down a little more and remember everything is in divine timing. Thank you for helping me release struggle and discomfort by summoning and issuing my breath♥️🙏🏽
I’m going to try the breathing techniques.
Gosh I needed this today. My body , gut has been feeling so off for a day… thought I was doing really well in our 6th Lockdown here in Melbourne. Is now the longest time in Lockdown in the world… as a Wellbeing coach need to give myself some love and more now. Thank you. xx
Swimming myself today in the Lake Cowichan beautiful water and I let it be easy with the amazing feel of the water. Oh my do I love the water and how it feels on my body and the lungs feel so clear after swimming. Lots of love. JOY
This hit home fo me. I’m assisting Mom through a cancer diagnosis. She came for a visit to give her time away. I realized I needed time on my own before I headed back to Mom’s home and started on upcoming doctor appts. I asked my brother to meet me 1/2 way to pick up Mom, allowing me 4 days to myself. I kept to myself, meditated, read, caught up on classes and just relaxed. I let go, released and feel so much better. I’m in Turtle mode 😉
Happy No Labor Day! ♥️ Perfect message for today!
That was so perfect! Such beautiful imagery to guide us. And I happen to have a love affair with sea turtles!! Thank y ou!
Loved the sea turtle analogy. They are beautiful and strong animals. Yet they seem humble as they slowly make their way to swim or rest. Thanks
What I got from this is to slow down, get self out the way and just relax and enjoy everything that life has to offer!! Life is as good as you let it be. Great advice!!!
Thank you both “Let it be easy” and for me not to try so hard breathing in with gratitude from Universe and through my centre into my heart where I find my project immersed in Divine love and out to Mother earth bringing energy back into my project raising the vibrations. I really love this life. Thank you.
Love this! I had a beautiful, relaxed, unexpected dream about a sea turtle last night – he was swimming turquoise waters with ease and a flip of his tail while colourful flowers were blossoming on the land – before seeing your beautiful ‘Let it be easy’ sea turtle video this morning. I’ve dreamed of visiting Maui too.
Thank you Marci for sharing your Maui sea turtle experience so vividly. Thank you Dr Sue for sharing these valuable breathing techniques. Much thanks to you both 🙂
Thank you for Marci for sharing this beautiful message this is exactly what I needed to hear. This is a difficult time of year, my husband was a FDNY firefighter who was killed on 9/11/01. Even though it’s been twenty years I still have a vivid emotional and body memory. Every year at this time I misplace things, feel tired and lose concentration. I have learned that I have to go slowly this time of year and give my soul what it needs. I have also learned that honoring my feelings instead of pushing them away helps me to go forward and like the turtle move with grace and also know when to rest.
I had just purchased some thank you cards that have beautiful colorful turtles on them and I felt connected and now YOM message about the turtle I love it! Thank you…I am going to relax and let it all be easy!

I,once about ten years ago found myself swimming behind a large turtle in Hawaii and have never forgotten the feeling. I was overcome by his strength and stillness.I felt I had entered another world, one of angelic power and aliveness!
yes i will be definately doing the breathing exercise the seaturtle reminds me of the tortoise where it is slow and steady and no rush but then slow and steady wins the race ive heard this statement many times
Arleen Fraijo:
This reminds me of my daughter Amy, when we were bowling she would always get the strikes, so I begin to watch her movements and she was very slow in pushing the ball just in the middle and slowly released it, now my Amy was autistic yet she made the strikes seem so easy. So may it be so…
Thinking of Maui it feels like ten years ago but, OH NO: my husband left this Earth in 1988, (my god, am I old) and Maui must have been 40 years ago, the weather was stormy, the waves were high, and I refused to dive through the wild water to make it what seemed like a mile in the ocean where my husband was swimming. When he finally came out, the ‘coward’ had a new name. We never saw one of those beautiful creatures, called Sea-Turtles.
I learned of this concept many years ago in reading a life-changing book entitled “I Ain’t Much, Baby, But I’m All I Got,” in which the author (Jess Laire, Ph D) experienced a life-altering heart attack, afterwhich he adopted the MO: “If it ain’t easy, it’s impossible!” I gladly adopted it for myself, but have recently migrated away from it in response to the current anxiety-inducing climate. It’s good to remember this and practice it whenever I feel overwhelmed and feel the pressure of “What should I be doing now?” Sometimes just doing nothing is the best thing you can do. Thank you.
